Woman beaten by ex-partner asks for help by simulating the order of a pizza: the State Police arrest a 25-year-old in flagrante delicto

On Sunday 28 February, in Viale Brenta in Milan, the State Police arrested a 25-year-old Moroccan citizen for the crime of aggravated personal injury against his former partner, a 33-year-old compatriot.

On Saturday evening, the woman agreed to meet her former partner from whom she separated at the end of January 2021 and during the meeting, at the height of yet another quarrel for reasons of jealousy, and was hit by him.

The 33-year-old, fearing for her own safety, and still having the man in her presence, called 112 NUE, asking to be able to order a margherita pizza, so as not to make him suspicious.

The synergy between the operators of the single emergency number, who were the first to receive the hidden request for help, and the policemen of the Police Headquarters to whom the call was made, made it possible to send a steering wheel to help women, thus activating the protocol of the legislation on the Red Code.

The 33-year-old, then rescued by the medical staff of the Polyclinic following the beatings received, on the arrival of the policemen, told them that Sunday night was only the latest in a long series of episodes of violence and harassment suffered during their relationship, all dictated, as this time, by reasons of jealousy on the part of the man.

The agents of the General Prevention Office thus collected the report of the 33-year-old and arrested the man in flagrant for aggravated personal injury.
