Two boys of 21 years have been subjected to detention because suspected of the murder of the 24enne Luke Sacchi, the 23 October evening, in the Appio Latino district. At the end of a very long interrogation at the police station, conducted jointly by the Police and the Carabinieri, the two young men were detained in custody. From the first reconstructions, to what has been learned, as a motive there would be a drug trade that ended badly.
Around the 23: 30 Wednesday night Luca Sacchi was walking with his girlfriend at the intersection of Via Teodoro Mommsen and Via Franco Bartoloni, a few steps from the John Cabot pub and the Caffarella park in Rome. Initially, the dynamics of what happened made us think of a robbery that ended badly. In fact the two attackers first hit the girl in the head, to steal her purse, then one of them had unsheathed her gun and shot at the 24enne's head when he reacted in defense of his girlfriend. Sacchi hospitalized urgently at the San Giovanni hospital did not make it and he died at 13 of 24 October.

The activities aimed at tracing the suspects continued uninterrupted, immediately after the events, which saw the involvement of the Personal State Police of the Central Operational Service, the Rome Squad and the "San Basilio" Police Station, while for the Arma dei Carabinieri staff of the Investigative Unit and of the Radiomobile Unit of the Provincial Command of Rome as well as of the Compagnia di Roma "Piazza Dante".
The intense searches made it possible to identify and capture both fugitives last night. The first suspect was traced to a hotel in the Tor Cervara area where he had found refuge, while the second was found on the terrace of a building where he had hidden, in the Torpignattara area.
During the operations, objects of investigative interest were recovered.
At the end of the activities both were subjected to Fermo of the Public Prosecutor issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Rome for the crimes of murder, robbery, detention and illegal carrying of weapons and taken to the Regina Coeli prison.
