The motto "Open Future"of Matera 2019 is well connected to the constant commitment of the Armed Forces projected to the future through the development of new skills and to the knowledge and promotion of "Culture of Defense", Involving the population in the reality of Defense through a series of conferences, visits to the exhibition area and demonstration activities of personnel, military vehicles and materials.
From the 21 to the 22 September, from 10 to 13 hours and from 16 to 21 hours at the Ex Ospedale S. Rocco in Piazza San Giovanni, guests will become familiar with the "world with the stars”, Visiting an exhibition of vehicles and equipment used by the staff of theArmyand Marina,aeronautics and Carabinieri, the photographic exhibition “365 - A Year with the Armed Forces” and an exhibition of military publishing.
Saturday September 21th, at 11: 30 an inter-force picket will participate in the celebration of the 76 anniversary of the Nazi massacre in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, which will also see the flight of the National Aerobatic Team around 11: 50. At 12: 20, there will be a performance by the 7 Fanfare of the Bersaglieri Regiment. In the afternoon at 16.00, at the Ex Ospedale S. Rocco, the conferences "Culture of Defense - Men against bombs" and to follow at 17: 00 "The Air Force tells its story in Matera: from air defense to community aid" and subsequently at 18 the conferences will end with "Antidrone capacity: description, potential, use and possible developments".
