It was held this morning at the barracks "Ferrari Orsi" of Caserta, headquarters of the command of the Brigade Bersaglieri Garibaldi, the project launch conference for the Twentieth edition of the “Flik Flok ", the 10 km race, who wants to honor the march of the Bersaglieri to which it is dedicated, of 11 October.
To do the honors of the house General Domenico Ciotti commander of the bersaglieri brigade Garibaldi, together with an exceptional parterre, gathered to launch the event, including the director general of the regional school office for Campania dr. Luisa Franzese, the councilor for sport for the Municipality of Caserta, dr. Alexander Pontillo, the President of CONI Caserta Michael DeSimone, the President of FIDAL Campania prof. Sandro Del Naia, and the president of the amateur sports association (ASD) Garibaldi Army Lt. Col. Dominic DiPalo.
During the conference, the Official poster, the race circuits and the events that will characterize the two days (from 9 October) to the premise of the sporting event were presented, which this year takes on even greater importance, because the ASD Garibaldi Army, managed, for the first time in Caserta, to obtain the concession of the Italian Absolute Individual Promises, Promises and Juniors 10 km on the road (valid as the 3rd round of the Absolute Racing Championship) and Italian Individual Championship Road race students (km 10 A / i - km 6 / e) by FIDAL, and by the Army championship. The event as well as bringing prestige to the Armed Force, contributes unquestionably to increase the sporting prestige of the City of Caserta.
In his speech, the General Ciotti, remarked "the importance assumed by the competition over the years, and the context in which it comes to life, confirming, also for this year, the participation of Paralympic athletics, a project already launched in previous editions, and as usual, the dedicated space to the families and to the people of Caserta, who since the dawn of the event remain, together with the young people, the reference point of the “Flik Flok”. The commitment of the Bersaglieri Garibaldi Brigade in the area will therefore be very high also for this year, in order to ensure the perfect success of the event and the maximum involvement of students, enthusiasts and citizens.".
