A Brazilian pilot survived four days in the jungle eating biscuits and drinking water after crashing his own farm aircraft. The man was rescued on November 7 in Peixoto de Azevedo, in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. As reported by the Brazilian website G1, initially the information given was that the accident had occurred on Sunday 4 November, however, according to the firefighters, the accident occurred on Saturday 3, in a region difficult to reach in some plantation areas. According to firefighters, pilot Maicon Semencio Esteves, 27, originally from Parana, was traveling at low altitude and fell in the woods. A fire broke out in the crash, and while trying to get out quickly, the pilot suffered burns to his arms, hands and face. The Brazilian Air Force is conducting investigations to clarify the reasons why the plane crashed. There is currently no information about it. His map indicated a straight path through the forest. The man tried to walk, but it was impossible to follow the straight path, according to reports from the fire department. The accident was reported by a farmer who was about 500 meters from the crash site, while plowing the land.
