A 32 year old from Artena, a small town in the province of Rome, was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Colleferro on charges of mistreatment in the family.
After the request for intervention, the intervention of the Carabinieri of the operative and mobile unit was immediate, interrupting the dispute and rescuing the victims. A son beat his 60-year-old mother with kicks and punches and then on board his father's car, in an attempt to get away from the house, he tried to run over his 39-year-old brother who was trying in vain to stop his race. The Carabinieri called through the single European number 112 intervened and blocked the suspect before he fled, finding him in possession of a kitchen knife with an eight centimeter blade used shortly before to threaten the 40-year-old woman.
The 32-year-old was already known to the police, for about three years he had put in place provocative attitudes towards his family members with verbal threats and attacks, forcing the victims to change their lifestyle habits.
The culprit of these attitudes was arrested and taken to the Velletri prison.
