Colleferro: brawl in broad daylight between boys, a minor in hospital. Sanna: "Very serious and unacceptable fact"

(by Emanuela Ricci) This afternoon in Colleferro, a town south of Rome, on Corso Filippo Turati another unpleasant story of beating between boys took place. One of the unfortunates, a minor, with a swollen face fell to the ground unconscious, rescued by the 118 was transported to the hospital where, according to the first rumors, he is not in danger of life. On the site there are the police for the first surveys and the collection of testimonies. The boys who took part in the brawl, in broad daylight, in one of the main roads of the town, disappeared among the roads that cross the Corso. At the moment the reasons for the deplorable gesture are unknown, it is hoped that the numerous CCTV cameras will allow us to trace the perpetrators of the beating to establish the dynamics and above all the reasons that triggered this violence against the boy. The first testimonies tell of three / four very young people from Colleferro who drove away in an Audi. It seems to relive, with this new beating, the tragedy that affected the town on the occasion of the murder of the very young Willy Monteiro, brutally beaten to death on 6 September last.

Immediate comment on the fb profile of the mayor of Colleferro, Pierluigi Sanna: The attack this afternoon on Corso Turati is a very serious and unacceptable fact, which gives shivers to our community. Young people who beat a young underage, during the day, on Corso Turati and run away, cannot go unpunished. I am in constant contact with the emergency room to get news on the state of health of the victim of the attack, currently in red code. We are all waiting for official news from the State Police that clarify the dynamics of the facts: we know that they are close to arresting the perpetrators. Our wounds are still too open on these issues: our pain and our indignation are particularly vast".
