(by Massimiliano D'Elia) The government on Monday Count bis will pass from the vote of confidence in the Chamber of Deputies, with Montecitorio square full of Italians to demonstrate against the "government of mess", according to Giorgia Meloni, Matteo Salvini and most of the Italians. A demonstration without political colors, there will be many tricolors waving.

Tuesday, the last little obstacle, trust in the Senate and here the game gets tougher. To date, according to ongoing negotiations, Giuseppe Conte can count on 166 sure votes - 106 of the M5S, 50 of the Pd, 7 of the mixed and 3 of the Autonomies -, probably the 3 of the SVP and the dissident's vote will be added Matteo Richetti of the Democratic Party thus bringing to 170 the votes for the government.

As reported by Corriere della Sera, now also the former grillina Paola Nugnes dissolved the reservation: "I will vote a conditional trust not a "forever" trust, then I will evaluate the proposals and measures from time to time".

The two senators of the MaieRicardo Merlo e Adriano Cario who will hold a conference via Skype with their coordinators in South America on Sunday, Merlo says: "We will decide on Sunday but I can say that we worked very well with Conte ".

There would also be the former M5S Gregorio De Falco e Saverio De Bonis. Thus commented the De Falco vote: "I will decide at the last minute on the basis of the seriousness that the President will be able to give in the Chamber, explaining to us where he will find the resources to keep the many commitments made and how he will revisit the security decree bis".

In the end there are the six senators for life that will express the vote only after listening to Giuseppe Conte's speech. It is about Liliana Segre, Giorgio Napolitano, Elena Cattaneo, Carlo Rubbia, Renzo Piano and Mario Monti.

The government could potentially reach 181 votes, having a required majority of 161 votes.

From Tuesday, therefore, the Conte bis government would have full powers. Many analysts argue that the government will last at least until the vote of the President of the Republic in 2022, because it is in everyone's interest to try to "sterilize" the sovereign thrust of Matteo Salvini's League.

In the meantime, during the legislature the yellow-red axis will try to put its hand to the electoral law with the clear objective (anti-League) of returning to proportional. Many parties and small parties: "divide et impera".

Strategies in the short term

The Center-right now tries to regroup. Positive signs, in this sense, come from the League towards Forza Italia and the Brothers of Italy, a League that, according to its leader, will oppose without discounts and will continue the electoral campaign to "snatch" other regions to the left. Important elections in Umbria, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Puglia.

The Democratic Party of Nicola Zingaretti for the regional would be thinking, instead, to ally with the Movement of Beppe Grillo to stem the excessive power of the center. Basically, the Italian political scene, after the tussle of all against all, is repositioning itself towards a natural bipolarity.

The soap opera of Italian politics is not over yet, some good ones will still be seen.
