A medical transport has been completed with a Falcon 900 Easy aircraft of the 31 ° Stormo of Ciampino of the Italian Air Force in favor of a baby girl of just 2 months in Imminent Danger of Life (IPV) on the Cagliari / Ciampino route. The transport required by the Cagliari Prefecture was necessary because the small patient urgently needed medical assistance.
The transport aircraft and helicopters of the Italian Air Force are ready 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, to intervene for public utility missions such as the emergency medical transport of people in imminent danger of life, or that of organs and medical teams for transplants. The service covers the entire national territory, including the islands, and when requested by the competent authorities it is also carried out in favor of Italian citizens who are abroad.
