Government: all awaiting Mattarella's decision

Elisabetta Alberti Casellati is expected today at the Quirinale for 12 noon to sum up her exploratory mandate. The agreement between the center-right and M5S seemed to be within reach yesterday, after Luigi Di Maio's willingness to accept Fi's external support for the government, a hypothesis that was however rejected in no uncertain terms by Silvio Berlusconi.

Nothing in fact therefore, we then return to the square of the street, with the perception that since last night the road in front of the president-explorer has narrowed and, therefore, the breezy possibility of extending the assignment received by Mattarella by a few days to try to consolidate the political convergences that emerged in the meetings at Palazzo Giustiniani, both to be verified.

Giulia Grillo, host of Omnibus on La7, commenting on the possibility of a pre-assignment entrusted to Roberto Fico for the formation of a new government, considers it an interesting but not probable hypothesis.

Everything will therefore depend on the Quirinal talks, which will certainly help to clarify future political scenarios.
