Found in a confused state and already returned to Italy thanks to the work of the Italian and Croatian police forces

An Italian citizen on vacation wandered for more than 48 hours aimlessly in the city of Dubrovnik (Croatia) and was found thanks to the contribution of the Italian State Police patrols present in Slavic land for the Safe Tourist Season program, in which they collaborate with Croatian colleagues.

The Milanese 43enne was on vacation with a friend and on the day of the 22 August had departed, without any personal effect, from the hostel where he was staying.

Realizing that she has disappeared, the girl warned the Croatian authorities that immediately alerted both the Italian patrols operating in Croatia and the Security Expert of the Central Directorate of Criminal Police in Zagreb.

Activated the searches, thanks also to the help from Italy of the Service for the International Cooperation of Police (SCIP), the Croatian police, on the night of the 24 August, managed to trace the Italian citizen who was wandering in a confused state in the center of Dubrovnik .

This morning, again with the support of the SCIP that followed all the stages of the journey, the two Italian tourists landed in the port of Ancona and re-embraced their family members, grateful to the police who gave a happy ending to a bad adventure.
