The summit also wanted to relaunch the project of the Treaty of the Quirinale which intends to intensify cooperation in various fields, on the model of what Paris already has with Berlin since 1963. At stake are 86 billion in exchange, the Tav and the reshaping of the European budget in a more ambitious perspective. The dossier on Libya, according to France and Italy, must be channeled along the path traced by  Berlin conference, supporting the European naval mission for compliance with the arms embargo. The intergovernmental agreement was finally signed for the full support of France and Italy to “Naviris”, the joint venture of Naval Group and Fincantieri through which the long-term alliance between the two industrial groups becomes fully operational. In order to ensure a more ambitious level of bilateral dialogue and thus contribute more effectively to the pursuit of common objectives, the Italian and French Governments will act within a structured framework of enhanced consultations in Europe and in the world, from bilateral issues, to European policies and major issues. international. In addition to the existing formats, structured dialogues will be launched at political level on economic and financial matters, on migration and asylum and on transport. To this end, they will also make use of mechanisms that facilitate regular exchanges of officials and joint training programs. In addition, periodic consultations will take place on the subject of climate and the environment also on the sidelines of European and international meetings in these areas ".
