The competition is aimed at young people aged 18 to 35 and students of the fifth year
Sensitize young people to the cultural and environmental issues of the city in which they live. This is the objective of the "Young ingenuity of green and art" ideas competition launched by Italia Nostra Latina for young people aged 18 to 35 and students in the fifth year.
A real call from the young people of Latina to participate to put forward proposals by imagining a more livable and culturally rich city.
“We want to urge - comments the section of Italia Nostra Latina - the direct participation of young people in the growth of the city through the enhancement of its small spaces. The intention is also to bring young people closer to our association by educating them in decorum and beauty by giving them the opportunity to pursue projects and aspirations in the field of environmental and architectural heritage through participation in the programs promoted by our association ".
You can participate in the competition by proposing ideas for free or resulting small urban areas (cities and villages) (flower beds, segments of abandoned or insignificant greenery, parking corners, desolate car parks) with solutions such as: green options (trees, urban jungle, walls vertical, rows of trees, etc); functional installations; artwork; socialization points (benches, games ...); transformation of fallen or dried trees into street furniture, works of art…; large or small planters to be placed in strategic places; any proposal useful to eliminate degradation and improve urban decor.
The documents must be sent by e-mail strictly from 12 noon on 26 April 2020 to 12 noon on 3 May 2020 at italianostralatina@gmail.com.
The prizes envisaged are: € 300 for the first place, € 200 for the second place; 100 to the third classified. Mentions will also be recognized with registration for one year in Italia Nostra Latina with the possibility of taking part in the activity of the association itself.
