Libya, Haftar pilot arrested: "Russians, French, Emirati and Egyptians on the field"

The armed forces of al Serraj arrested the pilot Amer Al Jagam after his plane was shot down in southern Al-Zawiya. As reported by The Libia Observer, the pilot reported that the mercenaries of the Russian Wagner group operate in coordination with the Tarhouna operations room in ground operations (snipers) and logistics. The pilot himself specified that there are two air defense and electronic warfare systems in the city of Tarhouna operated by Russians, adding that there is a small group of French experts working on logistical support, surveillance and wiretapping.
"The drones are entirely managed by United Arab Emirates officers at the Al-Khadim air base in eastern Libya and have been present in Libya since 2014. They took part in military operations in Benghazi, Derna and the southern region". Al-Jagam also said the F-16 and Rafale fighters take off from Egypt from Al-Barani Air Base and are in full swing in the war to hit Misrata and Tripoli, in coordination with Haftar's forces in Al-Rajma.

Turkey at work for intervention in Libya

Turkish presidency spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said Turkey may need to draft a bill to be able to deploy troops in Libya, confirming that the Turkish parliament is working on the issue.
Kalin told a press conference in Ankara that authorization may be needed in line with developments in Libya, adding that parliament is conducting work on this issue.
"We will continue to support the recognized Libyan government. This support could be in terms of military training for employment in other areas, as well as political support".
Speaking in Ankara after a meeting Kalin added that Turkey will continue to provide the necessary support to the Tripoli-based government.
"We are working towards an immediate ceasefire under the auspices of the United Nations and we want things to go back to the way they were before last April. Therefore, Khalifa Haftar should end his offensive on Tripoli or the situation will degenerate across the country". He also added that foreign support to Haftar, including that of Russia, will not help resolve the conflict.
Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that Moscow and Ankara have reached an agreement to elaborate a rapid resolution of the Libyan crisis.
