Confirmed July 10 for completion of the critical construction sites
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport is constantly engaged in the management of the activities concerning the checks on the Ligurian tunnels and is monitoring the progress of the inspection activities carried out by the concessionaire, as well as evaluating all the applicable initiatives to contain the intervention times for limit inconvenience to users without compromising safety conditions in any way.
In this context, in the morning, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport met again with the concessionaire company for updates on completed and ongoing construction sites.
The deadline of 10 July for the completion of critical construction sites has been confirmed, which should contribute to normal traffic. At the same time, the Company was asked to speed up the inspections on the other tunnels scheduled after 10 July, also by making personnel and faster technological solutions available.
Tomorrow there will also be the definition of an operating protocol with ANAS for the coordinated management of construction sites in order to ensure, in case of interruptions to transit, an alternative route.
