"Today we started working towards 2020, which will be an important year because it marks the fiftieth anniversary of the beginning of diplomatic relations between Italy and China. We want to celebrate this important anniversary by launching the year of tourism and cultural relations between Italy and China. We will start working in this direction. We discussed the needs of Chinese tourists when they come to Italy, the need to provide more "à la carte" services for tourists who choose Italy, and then the relationship between Italian law enforcement and the Chinese ones, strengthening the presence of Chinese police in our tourist sites. We have confirmed the will to continue with these operations, by signing this important official document after years on tourism between the two countries".

Gian Marco Centinaio during the meeting this morning at Mipaaft with the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, HE Luo Shugang, for the signing of the Letter of intent regarding cooperation between the Italian Republic and the People's Republic of China on the promotion of sustainable tourism.
