A 26-year-old pregnant woman was transported by a Falcon 50 of the 31 ° Stormo of the Italian Air Force. The aircraft took off from Alghero in the late morning and landed a few minutes ago at the Genoa airport. The woman, in need of being transferred as soon as possible to the Gaslini hospital in Genoa for specialist care, was assisted during the journey by a gynecologist.
The request for transportation had started from the Prefecture of Sassari to the Situation Room of the Air Squad Command Room, the Armed Forces operational room that deals - among others - with the coordination and management of this kind of missions in favor of the community.
Missions of this type require maximum timeliness.
