Bolkestein: ANA does not release its grip until the last peddler is safe

(by Massimiliano D'Elia) The National Ambulant Association is always on the front line to keep the political parties from forgetting that the 2020 is around the corner. The 2020 marks the date of the further extension granted by the Government to the category of Street Vendors to supersede the dictates of the Community Directive Bolkestein. The next Government will have to work for the final exit of the category from the Bolkestein Directive, an unjust Community Directive that has nothing to do with the Italian street vendors.

Yesterday, the ANA Secretary General Marrigo Rosato and Senator PD Moscardelli, together with other prominent politicians and representatives of the category, received the Secretary of PD Matteo Renzi in the Latina area. The PD said Renzi, has never forgotten the vendors and will continue to do so in all locations. Rosato has also snatched from Matteo Renzi the promise of participation in the meeting between the itinerant associations and the politicians of Campania, which will be held next February 20 in the province of Naples.

Rosato is echoed by the deputy vicar of the ANA Angelo Pavoncello who from Rome always keeps the issue warm with Forza Italia thanks to the tireless support of Senator Maurizio Gasparri, who has always been close to the peddlers' cause. Gasparri, on various occasions, has always said that he will continue to support all the itinerants of Italy until the last worker is not saved from the dark of Bolkestein.

Pavoncello, with a point of pride, reports yet another ANA victory because he explains that the cause of the street vendors has been "highlighted" as "official position of Forza Italia and included in the program published by the same party on Fb .

Here, then, what appears on the official Facebook page of Forza Italia, highlights Angelo Pavoncello:

"The Bolkestein directive is the classic example of how Europe proceeds on the basis of just abstract principles, without taking concrete realities into account. This is why we are against it ".

The ANA, as seen, does not give up and will take, along with the other associations scattered throughout Italy, all the street vendors outside Bolkestein.

Another commitment is that of reviewing the entire peddling system to guarantee operators decent places to work in safety and where they can attract people to welcoming, clean areas with services worthy of a G7 country such as Italy.
