In February, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles registered 48 thousand cars for a share of 26,4%

In Italy in February Fiat Chrysler Automobiles just underneath 48 thousand cars for a market share of 26,4 per cent. In the first two months of the 2018 the registrations of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles are 98.700, for a share of 27,4%. Also in February, as in the last few months, the balanced management of share and financial results continued. The success of the Alfa Romeo brands (up by 18,6 percent) and Jeep, which increases the registrations of 79,8% compared to a year ago.

It should be noted that this result was slightly influenced by climatic conditions, which did not allow to deliver some cars to the network. In the month the ranking of the top ten is dominated by the FCA models: well 6 among the ten best-selling cars, of which 4 in the top positions. The Panda is the best-selling car of the month, followed by Tipo, 500 and 500X. In the top ten also the 500L and the Ypsilon.

The "Bonus Impresa" initiative, which until the end of March, renews the offer already proposed in December, doubling its contribution to 20 million euros: together with its Italian sales network, FCA supports those using the car as an instrument work (companies, professionals and VAT) and encourages the renewal of the circulating fleet more quickly, with concrete proposals and models for any need.

In February the registrations of the brand Fiat they are 32.400 and the quota is at 17,8%. In the year, over 66.900 registrations, thanks to which the brand gets a share of 18,6 percent. Positive results from all the flagship models of the brand. Panda is confirmed as the best-selling car of the month with over 10.200 registrations and a share in the A segment of the 36 percent. Behind it the Type, before the C segment where it has a share of 20,5 percent. The third best-selling car in February, the 500, second in the A segment with a share of 18,3%: Panda and 500 together hold over the 54 per cent share. Fourth the 500X, once again before its segment, where it has a share of 18,9%. Among the top ten also the 500L that also in February confirms the most sold of its segment with the 50,8% of quota.

In the progressive annual, the registrations of Alfa Romeo are over 9 thousand, 23,3% more than the first two months of last year and the share is 2,5% in growth of almost 0,5 percentage points.

Giulia and Stelvio are the driving force behind the brand's results. Both are the best-selling cars of their segments, the Giulia with the 15,5 percent share, the Stelvio with the 17,5 percent.

Another very positive result for the brand Jeepwhich, with almost 6.900 cars registered in February, increased sales by 79,8%, compared to the same month last year. The share is 3,8%, it was at 2,1 percent a year ago. In the progressive annual 14.300 are the registered Jeeps (the 93,5 percent more compared to 2017) for a share of 4 percent, up 1,9 percentage points.

The flagship model of the brand, the Renegade, in February is the most sold in its segment - behind the 500X alone - with the 12,7% share. Equally positive was the result obtained by Compass, in the top positions of its segment with the 11,8% share.
