Huawei after the American stop, invests over 3,4 billion in the United Kingdom

The Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei, after the difficulties encountered in obtaining contracts in the United States, has decided to increase its ambitions towards the United Kingdom, where it is ready to invest 3,4 billion euros more.

According to a press release published online by the group, the announcement comes after British Prime Minister Theresa May's trip to China, where she met with Huawei president Sun Yafang.

Huawei recently saw an ambitious partnership project with local operator AT&T fall on deaf ears in the United States after congressional officials denounced the Chinese group's “espionage” risks.

Founded by a former Chinese military engineer, Huawei has already been denied access to major infrastructure projects in the US and Australia on grounds of national security and fear of espionage.
