The first public-private partnership for the first feasibility study of the inter-state system Hyperloop Transportation Technologies between Ohio and Illinois was launched. Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT | HyperloopTT) has signed official agreements with the Northeast Ohio Coordination Agency, a transportation and environmental planning agency, and the Illinois Department of Transportation, to begin the feasibility study to create the first interstate link for the Hyperloop train in the United States.
The supersonic train (a magnetic leavening capsule inside a low-pressure tube) will connect Chicago, the largest city in Illinois and Cleveland, the administrative capital of the state of Ohio, covering more than 500 km in 28 minutes and traveling at the speed of sound. , at around 1.200 km / h.
HyperloopTT, a Los Angeles-based company that is building the supertrain of the future, has a piece of Italy inside: it was founded by the Italian Bibop G. Gresta and the German Dirk Ahlborn. The startup is 100% controlled by Jumpstarter, owned by Digital Magics: the most important “Made in Italy” digital startup incubator active throughout Italy, which has Bibop G. Gresta among its founders.
In January, HyperloopTT worked with a group of congressional representatives from several states, including Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, on a letter to US President Donald Trump requesting financial support for infrastructure to develop the system.

TRAIN HYPERLOOP
The Hyperloop project is a capsule that hovers suspended, inside a low-pressure tube. As with an airplane at high altitude, the capsule meets less resistance. The air remaining in front of the capsule is conveyed to the rear of the tube using a compressor, which allows incredible speeds to reach over 1.200 km / h and very little power consumption.
The system has been designed with the highest sustainability standards, so as to have a minimum impact on the ground. The entire pipe system is in fact built on pylons, so as to reduce the costs of land acquisition and ensure insulation from climatic and environmental conditions.
The design of the pylons is such as to make the earthquake-proof and self-sufficient structure in terms of energy. Thanks to the solar panels placed along the upper part of the pipes and thanks to a sophisticated energy recovery system, Hyperloop is able to produce more electricity than it consumes.
