Italy: foreign fighter brothers arrested for drugs

Two Moroccan citizens who were arrested by the Carabinieri del Ros and those in Bologna, Modena and Reggio Emilia on charges of detention and sale of hashish and cocaine. The arrests were taken in execution of a precautionary custody order of the investigating judge of Bologna, at the request of the district attorney. The investigations of the Carabinieri del Ros, started in the 2015 against the foreign fighter for the hypothesis of association with terrorism purposes, have documented the actual belonging to the Islamic State of the Moroccan, who was in Italy from the 2009 and before the expulsion lived with the family in the Crevalcore area, in the Bolognese area. It was precisely the same investigation that led to the discovery of a 'drug tour' run by his brothers Khalil and Yassin, of 32 and 36 years, together with compatriots Abdelhak Bahoune, 35, and Abdellatif Dahibi, 48. The activity of shop, cocaine and hascisc, interested the territory between Crevalcore and San Giovanni in Persiceto, in the low bolognese. The four were reached by orders for precautionary custody in prison issued by the Gip of Bologna, Rossella Materia at the request of the Prosecutor (Pm Antonella Scandellari), for the crimes of possession and sale of drugs. Khalil and Yassin, between the end of May 2017 and the beginning of this year, had already been expelled from Italy and repatriated to Morocco, the first in administrative and the second as an alternative measure to detention. The other two suspects were instead arrested today by the Carabinieri. Dahibi was resident in Reggio Emilia but was traced to Spilamberto, in the Modenese area, where he lived, in the home of some relatives. Bahoune, on the other hand, was found in Castelfranco Emilia, also in the Modenese area.
