The Georgian authorities did not receive a clear answer during the meeting of the Accident Prevention Mechanism in Ergneti on the return of the body of Archil Tatunashvili.
This was stated by the deputy director of the information analysis department of the Georgian State Security Service, Kakhaber Kemoklidze, adding that he had abandoned the meeting in protest. “It was a very complex meeting. Obviously, the two main issues during the meeting are related to the case of Tatunashvili: when the family will be able to have the body and when the two citizens of Georgia will be able to leave Akhalgori village. After discussions lasting two and a half hours we have not received a clear answer to any questions, ”said Kemoklidze, quoted by the news agency“ Interpress News ”.
According to the representative of the Security Service, for this reason it was decided to temporarily suspend the meeting. “We will attend the meetings again when all the other important matters when Tatunashvili's body is returned to his family,” Kemoklidze said.
