Justice: portal launch of the Procedure Register in collaboration with banks

Banks now have access to the website created by the Ministry of Justice

Expanding and making transparent information available to creditors on executive, individual and bankruptcy procedures, with a view to facilitating the efficiency of civil justice. The "Electronic register of forced expropriation procedures, insolvency procedures and crisis management tools" is now available from the Ministry of Justice with the collaboration of the Italian Banking Association.

In detail, the web portal works like a real search engine that, based on the criteria entered (for example, tax code, name of the debtor and / or creditor, competent judicial office, type of procedure), allows to view data updated in real time for a better management of impaired loans. The system will also be available to the Bank of Italy, which will use the information it contains in carrying out its supervisory functions.

The Registry will be composed of two sections, one with public access and one with restricted access, and will allow to consult over 500 thousand procedures. The availability of further information on the liquidation procedures of assets under execution will facilitate the valorisation and circulation of impaired loans.
