iStarter, the Italian accelerator in London specialized in the international scale-up of the best entrepreneurial realities of our country and Digital Magics, the most important "Made in Italy" digital startup incubator active throughout the Italian territory, have signed two strategic agreements aimed at the opening of two new Digital Magics offices in Turin and London.
DIGITAL MAGICS ISTARTER in London represents a new opportunity for expansion and, in particular, for the internationalization of Digital Magics startups, thanks to the iStarter UK team: 100 equity partners - entrepreneurs, managers and exponents of the world of finance - who have the objective to contribute to Italian technological progress and innovation.
Thanks to their contribution and consolidated relationships with the world of European venture capital, iStarter UK will make available to the participated startups of Digital Magics the skills, relationships, networks and connections necessary to accelerate its internationalization.
The incubator DIGITAL MAGICS TORINO POWERED BY iStarter will select ideas and talents to support them in the birth and growth process of Piedmontese innovative startups, create local network of investors who want to invest in digital start-ups, involve local companies to launch Open Innovation programs able to innovate processes, services and company products thanks to collaboration with startups.
The objective is to develop the innovation ecosystem in Piedmont and in the North-West, launching innovative startups every year and organizing events, initiatives and business meetings with all operators in the sector.
The agreement provides that iStarter supports expansion in Piedmont through the iStarter operating team led by Riccardo Ruscalla, iStarter's board member and equity partner. Riccardo Ruscalla is also COO of the Tubosider family company, historical reality of the Piedmontese fabric in the world of infrastructures.
