CIPE: approved ANAS projects for a total investment of around 2,6 billion

Today the Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning has approved Anas projects for a total value of about 2,6 billion.

"These are key actions for the growth of the country," said Anas CEO Gianni Vittorio Armani - that unlock works expected from the territory and neuralgic for the enhancement of road infrastructure. Anas has promoted these new works, providing its design know-how and working in synergy with the Ministry and local authorities ".

In detail, the second section of mega lot 3 of state road 106 'Jonica' was approved, which involves a total investment of 1,3 billion euros and represents the missing link for the achievement of an integrated system between the Adriatic corridor- Ionian-Tyrrhenian. The route concerns the section in the province of Cosenza that winds from Roseto Capo Spulico to Trebisacce for about 19 km and is configured as one of the key elements in the project for the transformation of the Ionian Corridor into a major communication road with the function of connecting Ionian coasts of Calabria, Basilicata and Puglia.

Furthermore, the project for the completion of the Axis Civitavecchia-Orte was approved. The route of the chosen preliminary project is developed starting from the junction of Monte Romano est, affecting the valley of the river Mignone and ending on the A12 highway.

The work, long 17,6 km, provides a tunnel of about two kilometers and 9 viaducts for a total development of about 3,6 km.

The cost is over 466 million, of which 200 millions come from the Development and Cohesion Fund.

The final Anas project for the Casalecchio di Reno railway junction (Road Project - North Road), in the province of Bologna, has been approved for an investment of approximately 155,6 million euros, to be paid by Società Autostrade per l'Italia. The intervention, which represents the most demanding lot of the overall intervention consisting of the north section and the south section, in variant to the state road 64 "Porrettana", has a development of 2,1 km, of which 1,2 km in the tunnel , and a road section with two lanes for each direction of travel.

The Malpensa Accessibility project has been approved, which includes the definitive project of the works connecting the state road 11 in Magenta and the west ring road of Milan - Abbiategrasso variant and adaptation of the Abbiategrasso Vigevano section up to the bridge over the Ticino river (1st excerpt from Magenta to Vigevano, Section A and Section C). The project has a development of approximately 17,602 km and provides for a total cost of approximately 220 million euros, the financial coverage of which was ensured through the Malpensa Mortgage for 100 million, for approximately 120 million euros by the Anas program contracts 2014 and 2015.

 

Finally, the final project was approved for the adaptation to 4 lanes of the state road 372 “Telesina” in the province of Benevento, for a value of 460 million euros. The intervention begins at km 37,000 (San Salvatore Telesino junction), ends at km 60,900 (Benevento junction), and represents the 1st lot of the largest doubling operation of the Caianello-Benevento itinerary which is part of the the strengthening of the Lazio-Campania-Puglia route.
