According to reports from the authorities and television broadcasters, an internal floor of a building that houses the Jakarta Stock Exchange collapsed in the hall of the building and caused at least twenty injuries, many of whom were carried away on a stretcher.
The Bloomberg agency citing the statements of Rheza Andhika, a spokesman for the trading platform, stated that the structure collapsed on the ground floor of tower number two of the Stock Exchange and ruled out that it was an explosion.
Argo Yuwono, Jakarta police spokesman told Metro TV: "We have yet to investigate the causes, but for now our priority is the potential victims".
