Will land at the Fiumicino airport in the early afternoon of today, Fausto PELLEGRINETTI, 76 years, belonging to the so-called "Banda della Magliana", definitively sentenced to 13 years of imprisonment for crimes of criminal association aimed at the traffic of drugs and recycling .
Pellegrinetti was arrested in Alicante in Spain on January 21, at the end of a patient and scrupulous investigation which lasted about two years, conducted by the Mobile Squad of the Rome Police Headquarters and by the SCO - Operational Central Service, with the involvement and support for the transnational part of the Central Directorate of Anti-Drug Services and of the SCIP - Service for International Police Cooperation of the Public Security Department for the connection with the UDYCO of the Spanish National Police.
In the return flight will be escorted by the agents of the SCIP and upon arrival at the Roman airport will be completed the formalities of the arrest on the national territory by the Office of the Air Frontier of Fiumicino, to be immediately associated in prison at the disposal of the authority Roman judiciary that issued international custody orders.
