FCA: April sales in Italy of the prestigious automotive group

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in April registered just under 46 thousand cars, obtaining a share of 26,8 per cent. In the first four months of the 2018 the FCA registrations are 204.200 and the percentage of the 27,4 percent.
Positive results from all the main models, allowing Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to dominate the sales rankings with seven models in the top ten: at the Panda, the first was the Fiat 500X, 500, Tipo and 500L, the Lancia Ypsilon and the Jeep Renegade.

The Fiat brand in April registered almost 29.700 cars for a share of 17,3 percent. In the first four months of the year, the brand registrations are almost 137 thousand thanks to which Fiat has obtained a share of 18,4 per cent.
The brand continues the right balance between sales of quality and volumes in April: sales to individuals are increasing through the dealer network compared to those of less profitable channels, such as rental.

Positive results from all the models of the brand, five of which in the top ten: Panda, 500X, 500, Tipo and 500L. Once again, the Panda dominated the ranking of the best-selling cars, with over 8.700 registrations and a share in the A segment of the 32,2 percent. The results of 500X (before its segment with the 17,4 per cent share), 500 (second of the A segment behind the Panda, together have a share near the 50 percent), of Type (before its segment with a share of 20,1 percent) and 500L, once again leading its segment with a share of 45,5 percent.

In April Lancia registered 4.400 cars, for a share of 2,6 percent. In the first quarter of 2018 the registered Lances are over 18 thousand for a share of 2,4 per cent. Once again, Ypsilon confirmed its popularity with the public: in April it is the fourth best-selling car in Italy and second in the B segment, with a share of 10,6 per cent.

The result obtained by Alfa Romeo was positive: the brand closed April with over 4.400 registrations (11 percent more than a year ago) and obtained a share of 2,6 percent, up by 0,1 percentage points.

In the progressive annual the registrations of the Alfa Romeo are more than 18.800, the 18,4 percent more compared to the first quarter of last year and the share is of 2,5 percent increasing 0,4 percentage points.
The growth of the brand is of course due to Giulia and Stelvio: even in April, the first is confirmed among the leaders of its segment, with a share of 14,3 per cent; Stelvio, on the other hand, is once again the most sold in its segment, with a share of 14,3 per cent. Finally, it should be noted that Giulietta is the third best-selling car in the C segment.

Great exploit in April for Jeep that registrates almost 7.500 cars, the 124,45 percent more than the same month a year ago. The share is at 4,4 percent, up by 2,3 percentage points.
Equally positive is the result of the brand in the progressive annual, with 30.500 cars registered: the 95,1 percent more than the 2017 for a share that rises to 4,1 percent, equal to + 2 percentage points compared to the first quarter 2017.

Compass and Renegade are the leaders of the brand's performance. The first is the most sold in its segment with the 12,4 per cent share, while the Renegade with the 15,6 per cent share is second only to 500X.
