Wednesday 28 March, at 11, at the Angiolillo Hall of the Inps office in Palazzo Wedekind, Piazza Colonna 366 in Rome, there will be a joint press conference of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies and Inps on Inclusion Income (ReI), the national poverty contrast measure provided by the 1 Jan. 2018.
The conference will introduce the INPS President, Tito Boeri, who will present data on ReI applications received by INPS from 1 December 2017, from which citizens began to request it, and on the current number of beneficiaries of the measure.
At the end of the presentation will speak Roberto Rossini, spokesman of the Alliance against Poverty, which a year ago signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government.
Followed by the speeches of the President of the Council of Ministers, Paolo Gentiloni, and the Minister of Labor and Social Policies, Giuliano Poletti, who will draw an initial report of the ReI after almost three months of application. In particular, the Minister will focus on the recent approval of the first national plan for interventions and social services to combat poverty.
During the press conference, updates will also be provided on the Isee simulator, improved to facilitate access to the ReI, present on the Institute's website, by the INPS President.
Following this, the Director General for Combating Poverty and Social Planning of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, Raffaele Tangorra, will dedicate a specific focus to interventions in favor of homeless people provided for in the national plan. In this regard, by INPS, the project to combat the poverty of Inps and the Municipality of Milan will also be presented, designed to verify through a software called ULISSE the possible presence of unexpressed rights and services potentially usable by homeless people.
