Iran: USA ready to abandon nuclear agreement signed in 2015 with Germany, China, France, Great Britain and Russia

Iran, responding to the ultimatum launched by the American president Donald Trump, has announced that it refuses any modification to the nuclear agreement signed with the 5 + 1 group.

The news was made known through an official note issued by the foreign ministry where it reads: "The Islamic Republic of Iran will not take any measure beyond its commitments under the nuclear agreement, nor will it accept any modification of this agreement , today and in the future, and will not allow the agreement to be linked to other issues ".

Mohammad Javad Zarif, head of Iranian diplomacy, yesterday accused President Trump of trying "desperately" to sabotage the nuclear agreement signed in July of 2015 between Iran and the 5 + 1 group (Germany, China, USA, France, Great Britain and Russia).

Hence the rumors that the US would see out of the nuclear agreement considering the fact that last Friday the American president confirmed the suspension of economic sanctions against Tehran, stressing that it will be the last suspension and called for an agreement with the European partners to complete the current agreement, a constraint that would prevent the US from leaving the agreement.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, quoted by Russian news agency Interfax, commented: "We are gradually coming to the conclusion that the domestic decision to exit the Iranian nuclear agreement has already been taken by the US, or that close to taking it, this could be one of Washington's serious mistakes in foreign policy, a serious miscalculation. " Ryabkov also stressed that Moscow "will do everything in its power to save the agreement", also calling for "intense work" between Russia, China and European countries to save the agreement.
