Saudi Arabia, soon, could recognize Israel

(by Roberta PREZIOSA) Jerusalemonline.com reported today that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in a recent interview, recognized the right of Israel, as well as that of the Palestinians to live in peace on their land.

He is the first Arab leader who said "I believe the Palestinians and Israelis have the right to have their own land". It is an important public declaration that will have far-reaching geopolitical repercussions. The first will be the isolation of Iran from the Arab world.

The Crown Prince said that "the Prophet Muhammad married a Jewish woman ... there are no problems between Christians, Muslims and Jews".

Saudi Arabia has not yet officially recognized Israel, but the recent opening of Israeli civilian airplanes on Saudi soil was a prerequisite for further diplomatic developments.

The Crown Prince, during an interview with the magazine "the Atlantic", strongly attacked Ajathollah Khamenei, compared to Hitler, Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah and Isis.

Therefore, it is an important geopolitical development of Saudi Arabia according to the strategic lines drawn in the "Vision 2030" in the field of foreign policy and not just military.
