According to South Korean media reports, South Korea has asked North Korea to launch "military" talks to "eliminate or reduce the risks of misjudgment", thus alleviating tensions around the Korean peninsula.
This is what was proposed during the high-level meeting, still underway in the village of Panmunjom, between the “high-level” delegations of the two sides.
