Leonardo allowed the tax compliance of cooperative compliance

Leonardo was admitted to the cooperative compliance regime, established within the national tax legislation by Legislative Decree 128/2015, which today includes, in addition to Leonardo, some important Italian companies. This regime, whose effect is established starting from 2016, the year of submission of the application, is based on a closer relationship of trust and collaboration with the Tax Administration, which will allow to increase the level of certainty on relevant tax issues through constant and preventive dialogue in full transparency on situations likely to generate tax risks. Admission to the new regime is based on the possession by the company of an adequate system for detecting, managing and controlling tax risks, in line with best international practice (the so-called Tax Control Framework).

Alessandro Profumo, Managing Director of Leonardo, commented:

"The cooperative compliance regime is a decisive step forward in our tax system
Country, in which Leonardo is proud to participate with a leading role, bringing its specific characteristics as a large group with industrial presence in various countries. Furthermore, admission to the regime is an important testimony to the effectiveness of the actions implemented by Leonardo in recent years on its internal control system, aimed at ensuring efficiency, transparency and full accountability of its processes. Objectives that the new Board of Directors is determined to pursue, with a view to continuous improvement of processes ".

As required by the law, with the admission measure notified by the Tax Authority, the registration of Leonardo Spa in the list of companies operating in full transparency with the Italian Tax Authority was published, published on the Agency's own website .
