Leonardo announced today that two additional civilian helicopters will be delivered to private customers in Chile by the start of the 2019, joining a fleet of over twenty units currently in service in the country. The deliveries will concern an AW119Kx single engine in VIP staging, arriving in the South American country in the fourth quarter of this year, and the first new AW109 Trekker light twin-engine helicopter for the Chilean market and in utility configuration, with entry into service in the first quarter 2019.
