Libya, some shadow operation could have occurred in the night

(by Franco Iacch) The main commercial sites have been paying attention in recent weeks to the Mediterranean and the "shadow" missions in Libya and Tunisia by the US special departments. What has happened in the last few hours is interesting. A US Fairchild C-26 (multi-mission surveillance / transport) took off from Misurata with destination Sigonella. Also in this case the tracks overlap as always from the Sicilian base a drone RQ-4B (11-2048) called radio call FORTE10 with destination Libya was raised. Usually the Global Hawks are destined for the Black Sea or in any case on long-range missions close to the Russian borders as happened 24 hours ago with the RQ-4B (10-2043) on reconnaissance in Ukraine. In the last 96 hours the main US surveillance and troop transport platforms deployed at the bases of Sigonella, Trapani and Pantelleria have made flights to Libya. Cyprus is also very active with its Dash 8. The need to raise an RQ-4B drone may have become necessary due to the weather in Libya (the high resolution synthetic aperture radar can penetrate through clouds and sandstorms ) or for a new persistent aerial assessment of the operational context.
