The Carabinieri of the Company of Sesto San Giovanni (MI) have been subjected to detention of criminal offense, two Moroccan citizens of 21 and 23 years of age, irregular on the national territory, as they are held responsible for murder.
The measure comes at the outcome of the investigations, coordinated by the Monza Public Prosecutor's Office, launched on 12 March, following the discovery, in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), of a 29-year-old Moroccan dying. The victim had been transported to the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza, where she died shortly after, due to a deep cut wound in the neck. The investigative activity made it possible to recover the alleged murder weapon, a knife with a blade of about 20 cm., Hidden in a bush not far from the place of the facts, as well as to quickly identify the perpetrators of the attack, which occurred at the height of a heated discussion for futile reasons linked to a difficult coexistence sharpened by the state of intoxication.
The two authors were traced and blocked respectively in Parabiago (MI) and Lecco, where they had found shelter after the murder and from where they were organizing to flee abroad.
Pending the validation of the provision, the detainees were taken to the Monza prison.
