According to Gallup, China dominates global leadership

According to the Nova agency, the approval rate of Chinese leadership in global affairs exceeded that of the United States in 2017, according to the latest survey published by the US company Gallup; The survey, which assessed perceptions of US leadership in more than 130 countries, found a decline to 2017 percent in 30, the lowest level since Gallup began surveying a decade ago.

The poll reveals a shrinking perception of US leadership in "every part of the globe"; China, on the other hand, enjoys a stable rating by respondents, which in 2017 led it to overtake the US at the top of the rankings.

This dynamic appears with particular strength in the Americas and in particular in Latin America, where China has now overtaken the US as the region's leading trading partner. China surpassed the US in terms of approval in the Asian region; the two powers, on the other hand, are more or less equal in the imaginary of Europe and Africa.

The Gallup survey was conducted through direct and telephone questionnaires to a thousand adult individuals in each of the countries or areas surveyed, in a March-November period of the 2017; in addition to the United States and China, the survey called for assessments on the leadership of Russia and Germany.
