Ambulanti, Pavoncello (ANA): Municipality of Milan revokes the announcement of licenses

Ana, the National Association of Peddlers, does not stop its battle against illegality. In recent days we have warned the municipality of Milan to proceed with the banning of the street vendors' licenses according to which the operators in the sector should have forwarded the applications by 18 January. And so, in the Lombard capital, the tenders were withdrawn.
In fact, the new regulatory framework on the subject changed radically at the end of December: the Bolkestein directive was extended to 2020 and the stop to the tenders was established.
For this reason, the various municipalities of Italy must immediately revoke the notices issued while those that have already completed the procedures must cancel them as they are illegal in light of the new legislation ".
In a note, Angelo Pavoncello, vice president of Ana - the national itinerant association, communicates this.
“For this reason we have warned the municipality of Milan to proceed with the tender and we take the opportunity to reiterate also to all the Italian municipalities involved to immediately suspend and / or revoke all the tenders. Furthermore, we have sent a formal warning to the managers of the Liguria region as some municipalities are drafting illegitimate calls: both the president Toti and the commissioner Rixi have been invited by us to circulate a circular so that the new legislation is respected ”adds Pavoncello.
"In addition - continues Pavoncello - we ask the president of ANCI, Antonio De Caro, to issue a circular to all the municipalities of Italy so that, in order to avoid any disputes, they scrupulously comply with the new legislation that provides for the stop to tenders and the 'alignment of all the maturities of the licenses of the street vendors' concessions to 2020 ”.
“The revocation of the Milan tender is our great victory. At the same time, we reiterate the need for all Italian municipalities to intervene in the matter immediately, also to avoid our president Vincenzo Caiazzo and the secretary Marrigo Rosato, to whom the whole Ana association and all the street vendors already affected by the calls go, having to intervene with warnings in all 8000 municipalities ”says Pavocello.
"Next Sunday, January 14, the first meeting of 2018 of all national, regional and provincial ANA managers will be held in Florence: on that occasion we will start the work that will involve us both in terms of the Bolkestein directive as well as in the work of relaunch of the markets and renewal and relaunch of the category ”concludes Pavoncello.
