US President Donald Trump said yesterday that armed teachers could prevent massacres such as last week's mass shootings at a Florida high school.
Trump expressed his support for the idea during an emotional meeting at the White House with the survivors of the shooting and the parent whose child was killed.
"If there had been a skilled teacher with weapons the attack would have ended more quickly", this was the President's sentence while
he sat in the middle of a semicircle in the White House dining room, listening carefully to the students who were crying and demanding change. President Trump has therefore promised to take steps to improve controls for gun buyers.
The meeting involved six students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where 17 students and educators were killed last February 14 by a man armed with a semi-automatic AR-15 assault rifle in the second most deadly shootout always in an American school.

"We will be adamant about the controls especially those of mental health and they are not words, there will be facts," said Trump.
