Sister Susanna, former teacher and head of Catholic schools, since 1978 has been involved in giving material assistance and spiritual relief to those who, before, during and after undergo surgery of all kinds. Brisk and crystalline gaze, unequivocal and pragmatic Apulian inflection, quick step and resolute gestures, welcomes, organizes and manages hospitalizations and transitions for the poor and non-EU citizens. A constant and catalyst presence of volunteers who assist and guarantee essential services.

Forerunner of the "church-field hospital" hoped for and encouraged by Pope Francis, Sister Susanna is the visible sign of the reassuring closeness of the Lord in these places of suffering, hope and apprehension, where doctors and nurses see her as a solid human and spiritual reference. .
