In Rome, in Piazza del Popolo, the stands dedicated to the 162nd Anniversary of the Italian Army.

162 years after its establishment, the Italian Army has organized a series of celebratory events aimed at consolidating the closeness of the Armed Forces to the population and showing the reassuring face of the State.

Among these, there are the activities of the "Army Village" in Piazza del Popolo in Rome, which will begin today 29 April at 9 am and will culminate on 4 May with the military ceremony. In the square it will be possible to find the rock climbing wall, the Folgore military fitness trail, the "Rolfo" flight simulator of the Army Aviation, the biathlon shooting simulator, the demonstration stand with a training strip for looking for ordnance and explosives, the motion simulator, the Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices robot, the Live and Virtual Station Training VBS—3 simulator, and various vehicles on static display.

The Village is completed by promotional stands, info teams and enriched by the music of Army Radio. Furthermore, in the afternoons from 29 April to 2 May, it will be possible to attend performances by four different Army bands along a route that winds between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna.
