During today's meeting Abi and Trade Unions - sharing the desire to implement a contract appropriate to the current context - have established the additional "suspension" until 31 May 2019 of the contract terms to 31 December 2018.
This with the aim of allowing the comparison on all the issues of the renewal of the sector contract, following the presentation of the trade union platform.
The meeting also shared that - pending what will be defined during the renewal - continues, with the operating and financing procedures in place at 31 December 2018, the operation of the Fund for employment (FOC) , bilateral body of the sector at the forefront of active labor policies, with particular attention to young people and professional relocation.
On this occasion - confirming the centrality of trade union relations in the sector and the constructive dialogue between Abi and trade unions - the Parties renewed the terms of the 2015 Agreement on trade union freedom with validity up to 31 December 2021.
