The online seminar, which was held in recent days, recorded the participation of school leaders, central and local PA officials and freelancers. At the center of the study are the measures for the drafting and publication of the annual accessibility objectives, as established by Law Decree no. 179/2012, art. 1, co. 2. Thanks to the support of a team of professionals, issues related to the requirements of the legislation were addressed, in compliance with the Agid guidelines on accessibility, with particular attention to measures aimed at ensuring the use of the sites by users with visual, hearing and tactile impairments.

The online seminar is part of the agreement signed in recent months between the Aidr association and the Lia Foundation. The two non-profit organizations, which for years have been engaged in the dissemination of issues related to digitization and accessibility on the web, cooperate in close synergy with a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening the full use of web tools.

“We wanted to inaugurate the cycle of training seminars on digitization with an event dedicated to accessibility issues - underlined the president of the association Aidr Mauro Nicastri, because we are convinced that the digital revolution is real only if it benefits everyone. Together with the Lia Foundation we have embarked on a path of fruitful collaboration, which is enjoying great interest, such as the publication of an editorial series dedicated to the themes of digitization and available for free on our online platform (https://www.aidr.it/ebook/).

"The Lia foundation - concluded Secretary General Cristina Mussinelli, was created with the aim of allowing all people with visual impairments or reading difficulties to choose how, when and, above all, what to read, thus promoting social integration and active participation in the world of culture, school and work. With this in mind, the promotion of these issues within the public administration acquires an even greater value, if possible. "
