Bad weather, Pavoncello (ANA), "regions establish solidarity fund for street vendors"

"A solidarity fund for itinerant operators who are victims of environmental disasters and natural disasters: it is one of the main requests, illustrated in recent days in a hearing at the Lazio Region on the occasion of the table with the trade unions on the observations to the TUC (Consolidated commerce) approved by the Regional Council and currently under discussion in the Productive Activities Commission ".

In a note, Angelo Pavoncello, vice president of Ana - the national itinerant association, communicates this.

"The sector of street vendors is closely linked to climatic conditions: the weather influences the carrying out of road work on a daily basis; for this reason, we believe it necessary to establish the fund, in all regions of Italy, to protect workers who cannot operate in prohibitive situations of adverse weather”Adds Pavoncello.

"At the Lazio Region we also asked the commission chairman, Massimiliano Maselli, to acknowledge the request to safeguard the right of equivalence in the event of a market or workstation move as well as to recognize the cultural historicity of the markets, as already provided for by Unesco convention of Paris and the Cultural Heritage Code to articles 7 bis and 52 of law 42/2014 ”concludes Pavoncello.
