Connational in serious condition repatriated from India by aeronautical flight

The 900 Stormo Falcon 31 with an Italian citizen of 46 years in serious health conditions in need of repatriation from India has returned on the night on Milan Malpensa Airport. During the flight, the patient was assisted by a team of doctors from the Legnano Civil Hospital in Milan, where he was subsequently transferred to an ambulance.

 The Air Force aircraft, which had started around the 18: 00 Italian from the Indian airport Indira Ghandi of New Delhi, landed in Milan at dawn, around 03: 30, after eleven hours of flight and one technical airport. 

 The humanitarian protocol was activated by the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi, in coordination with the Prefecture of Milan, to allow the man, admitted to the intensive care unit of the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, to receive the necessary care in a structure Italian specialist.

 Following the authorization to transport by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Summit Situation Room of the Air Squadron Command, the operating room of the Italian Air Force which has among its tasks also that of organizing and managing this type of intervention , immediately activated one of the airplanes on the front line for this type of emergency. The Situation Room of Vertice AM has the task of coordinating with the Prefectures and - when necessary - with the diplomatic representations abroad, the specific needs.
