Enjoy arrives in Bologna!

The city of the two towers will be the sixth to share the red Fiat 500 of Eni's vehicle sharing service

Enjoy announced today the arrival in Bologna of the free release vehicle sharing service, created by Eni in a commercial partnership with Fiat and Trenitalia. The press conference took place at the Sala Tassinari of Palazzo d'Accursio, in the presence of the Mayor Virginio Merola, the Councilor for Mobility Policies Irene Priolo, the Chief Refining & Marketing Officer of Eni ing. Giuseppe Ricci, the Chief Executive Officer Fleet & Tender of FCA Emea Stefano Solfaroli and the Head of Commercial Partnerships (HS and Long Distance) of Trenitalia, Fabrizio Ruggiero. Bologna is the sixth city after Milan, Rome, Florence, Turin and Catania to revolutionize its mobility, that of its citizens and those who visit it for work or leisure. Enjoy has joined the public notice launched by the Bologna Municipal Administration through the mobility agency SRM, for the dissemination of new car sharing services, with the aim of reducing the private vehicle fleet, decongesting traffic and improving the quality of life of those who live and work in the city.

The methods and characteristics of the service support a simple and immediate "customer experience", thanks to the total management of the rental via the App (from booking, to the opening of the car, to the insertion of the pin and to the end of the rental). The user can view the nearest vehicle and book it with the smartphone app (Android, iOS and Windows Phone) or via the enjoy.eni.com website, or choose a free one along the way, hire it and start the rental right away. Registration is free and completely online.

In Bologna the Enjoy fleet will be composed of 100 Fiat 500 that can be released at the end of use within the area covered by the service which will be around 15 sq. Km. Cars will have free access and transit to all LTZ; in particular the "T" area is included, but only from Monday and Friday. Preferential lanes, pedestrian areas and Via dell'Archiginnasio are not included. Parking areas dedicated to car sharing will be free and free on all blue lines for a fee, on white stripes including those reserved for residents (excluding electricity recharging stations and with discs), on yellow stripes only for 28 stalls municipal reserved for car sharing (prohibited on those "Io Guido" and reserved TPER), in addition to any parking permitted by the Highway Code. On Piazzale Medaglie D'Oro, the dedicated parking areas are located on the east side of the inner ring of the square. Other 8 stalls are planned inside some Eni service stations, located in strategic areas and with high traffic circulation in the city. All the Fiat 500 of the fleet active in Bologna will be 6 euro approved and will be able to transport up to four people.

Enjoy is an efficient, innovative and sustainable service that will give new energy to Bologna's mobility thanks to competitive rates: 25 cents per minute (for the first 50 km, after which the cost per km of 25 cents applies), or daily rate 50 euro. The cost is "inclusive" because it also includes insurance, maintenance, fuel and parking costs. Enjoy gives the possibility to carry out the "extended reservation" which includes the first free 15 minutes and from 16 ° to 90 ° a fee of 10 cents per minute.

Even for users who will use the service in Bologna, self-refueling will be available, that is, the mode of restoring Enjoy cars by customers in the enabled Eni Stations, which allows the accumulation of rental minutes. When booking, those who view a car with fuel level below the 30%, can fill up on gasoline at no cost. The management of the refueling operations takes place through the app and at the end the customer receives a free voucher from 5 euro for future rentals. There are six Eni stations in town, one of which in Casalecchio (recognizable on the App by the push-pin with the Eni logo).

Both new and old members can also take advantage of the promo "Via col 20": with two simple steps at the opening of the application, it will be possible to buy a 25 € 20 voucher, a 20% discount that reduces the rate from 25 € cent / min to 20 € cent / min. Vouchers purchased up until December 31 will be immediately credited and must be used within 30.06.2019.

Enjoy also strengthens its partnership with Octo Telematics, the leading global provider of telematic services for the insurance and automotive sectors. The company, which provides the Omoove technological platform, has supported the Enjoy vehicle sharing service since its inception.

The Octo logo will appear on the back of all the Bolognese Fiat 500s and follow the entire fleet nationwide.

Starting from December 2013, 2.400 Fiat 500 red Enjoy and 50 Doblò Cargo, have had a significant impact in the world of sharing mobility with over 780 thousand already registered customers and an average of over 14.000 daily rentals.

The Enjoy vehicle sharing is part of the Eni initiatives program aimed at promoting innovative technological solutions, linked to issues such as the circular economy and new sustainable economic models.
