“Congratulations to the new president of Coldiretti, Ettore Prandini. His experience and his knowledge of the territory represent an added value for the whole national agricultural sector. I thank the outgoing president Roberto Moncalvo for the precious contribution made in recent years; a job that, I am sure, will continue to carry out within the association. With the new president I will continue the fruitful collaboration on crucial issues for the Ministry: the protection of Made in Italy agri-food, the enhancement of our territories in synergy with the development of tourism and the promotion of our excellence in Europe and in the world. Important challenges await us in the coming months. I am thinking of the discussion of the new CAP, the revision of international treaties, the strengthening of controls on the supply chain and on the web. It will be essential to work together, involving everyone, each for their skills: industry and cooperatives for processing raw materials, large distribution, small and medium-sized enterprises ".
