Today in Lazio the opening of schools of all levels. We went to the Secondary School of First Grade "Leonardo da Vinci" di Colleferro to collect testimonies from students, their parents and the teaching staff

At 08.30:XNUMX the school gates opened, when a large group of students, accompanied by their mothers and fathers, were already crowded on the sidewalk in front. The excitement of the little ones was visible, those who for the first time, having just finished elementary school, were preparing to cross the entrance of the middle school.
Another small milestone in life that projects them, fully into adolescence, a school transition that makes them aware of the fact that they are growing up, that they are becoming "big". The excitement of discovering a new school, new teachers, a new world, a different reality, especially at Leonardo, which hit the headlines for having experimented and then implemented the innovative DADA model. Among the first schools in Lazio that had the courage to revolutionize the teaching method, so much so as to attract the attention of other schools at a national level that, in various conferences organized in Colleferro, sent their representatives to "touch with their hands" the virtuous reality of the complex of our Municipality.(https://www.prpchannel.com/il-rivoluzionario-modello-dada-alla-leonardo-da-vinci-di-colleferro-per-una-scuola-sempre-aperta/)
Returning to today, the warm greeting of the Mayor Pierluigi Sanna who, through his Facebook profile, forwarded the councilor's greeting Diana Stanziani.
At the entrance to Leonardo Da Vinci, the school principal, Dr. Maria Giuffre with an engaging and reassuring smile he welcomed the children and parents: “Today the 2024/25 school year finally begins, it's nice to see you here, to feel your joy. I want to remind you that our school is open all day, even after regular school hours; there will be many afternoon activities for our children. You are all welcome, the school belongs to all of us and I will keep your enthusiasm in my heart for the whole year: this is the reason why alli we work".
Each class, starting from 1st A, crossed the threshold of the main entrance with their parents in tow. Once they reached the locker floor, each student, armed with a “padlock”, placed their backpack there and then reached the class dedicated to the subject to be followed. Yes, because each subject has a themed class. The children do not have a class assigned for the whole year but many classes, many new environments all “designed” and “personalized” to the subject of study. An “itinerant” way to learn without ever “getting bored”. Because our children need new stimuli, to change the approach to studying: more participatory and above all one that knows how to attract students.
Happy school year to all!!!
