Alternating school work, new challenge for high school. Students of Colleferro, a day at Peroni

(by Emanuela Ricci) The school-work alternation is an activity that should interest the high school institutes the most throughout the year. After adolescent studies, we are faced with the choice that can affect an entire life. Having to choose is really difficult in the face of a future that, by definition, is uncertain. Giving young students an increasingly complete picture of the various existing opportunities is probably the new challenge that training institutions will have to face in order to expand their training offer. It is necessary to leave the school walls and see, touch what is outside, what the real world offers us. Recently many schools have understood the importance of this activity and have become very active in offering their students “on the job” experiences. Like the one that arrived in the editorial office of a school in the province of Rome that we propose in order to appreciate the experience lived by young students.

On 14 last December, the 5 classes A and 5 B of the chemistry course of the Stanislao Cannizzaro Technical Institute in Colleferro visited the factory Peroni beer in Rome to attend one intense practice lesson of alternating school work

Accompanied by the professors referring to Asl D'ISTITUTO, Mancini and Masella, by the representative of the simulated company Professor Fanciulli and the chemistry teacher Professor Frattali, the students were able to access the factory premises, follow the whole production chain, from the beginning at the end and listen to the precious explanations of Peroni's project manager, Mrs. Sinni.
These highly formative experiences especially for students of the fifth year who will soon have to take the final examination during which, in the oral test, they will be asked to report their three-year experience of alternation, they are part of the project of institute of Asl and they are fundamental above all for those students who after graduation will be oriented in the world of work but also for those who are willing to choose a university faculty.
In particular, this company visit was made possible thanks to the work of the Anpal networks referent, Roberto Tropea and the Anpal tutor of the institute David Coltellacci, always at the side in planning and implementing the ideas of the school complex.

To record the interest of the boys for all the activities held during the day.
